Submitting Artwork & Uploading Files
To ensure that your project prints in a timely fashion with a minimum of cost overruns and with the optimum final print, please use the following guidelines.

File Transmission:
To request FTP access, please contact your project manager.
* PC User: Logon with your private username and password, supplied by your project manager
* Mac User: Use a FTP Client program, "Fetch" or similar, to access ftp.coylerepro.com
We recommend that all jobs over 2MB are submitted via FTP. If you would like to email a job, please compress (Zip or Stuff) the file before emailing.
Platform: Macintosh
Disk Formats: DVD, CD's
Application: Build in Adobe Illustrator or InDesign. Support files in Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator
Document Size: Please build your file at 100% size when possible.
* Screen Printing: Build file at 150 DPI at 100%. D-MAX: 280% except on solid black background - Rich blacks should be built 60% cyan, 40% magenta, 40% yellow with 100% black
* Digital: Build file 150 dpi at 100%
Bleed: Build files with a minimum of 1/8" bleed on all 4 sides. Include crop marks with labels for Margin Borders, Bleed Borders, Trim and intended View area when displayed. (Cloning is available if necessary at an additional charge.)
Support Graphics: Include all support files. DO NOT imbed any files in illustrator. All support files should be created at 100% of import size, 125 DPI minimum resolution for best results. PDF files are NOT preferred for printing. If supplying flattened files for printing, please supply all supporting layered files as well.
Scans: Minimum resolution 125 DPPI @ 100% of import size. 150DPI is the preferred resolution. Include ALL linked scans/files. Scans must be saved in CMYK format. (RGB format can cause unwanted results when converted to CMYK). Avoid embedding scans into Illustrator documents.
Fonts: Illustrator layouts should have their copy converted to outlines prior to sending for production. Supply all fonts, post script, printer and screen fonts or true type fonts. Proofs: A color correct target proof should be supplied by the client with the production files. Proofs that are un-acceptable include dye-sublimation and color lasers or color copies. Lack of a good color proof could lengthen the color correcting and approval process. Please also include an approved PDF or laser print for verification of content and layout. MBC will supply one color calibrated proof for approval. Approval is required before production can begin. Additional changes to art and /or subsequent color corrections will be billed additionally.
